Hawzah News Agency- The ceremony, attended by scholars and professors of the seminary, non-Iranian seminary students, brothers and sisters alike, and people from all walks of life, was held in a spiritual gathering, featuring recitation of the Holy Quran and elegy recitation in honor of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Ummah.
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, a member of the Assembly of Experts, addressed the gathering, stating that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution revived the energy of Imam Hussain's (pbuh) martyrdom. He noted that throughout history, the fervor and passion of the Hussaini community may sometimes subside, and in such conditions, blood akin to that of Imam Hussain is spilled, creating a current of martyrdom that moves societies and revives human nature.
Ayatollah Araki described efforts to achieve vengeance for the martyred Leader of the Revolution as efforts to realize justice and virtue in the world, adding: "If we allow the leaders of disbelief to remain unpunished, not only will injustice spread, but oppression will become the world's primary value."
The member of the Assembly of Experts further stated that vengeance for the martyred Leader of the Revolution is a prelude to the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) and a duty incumbent upon us. He said: "At this moment, the most important duty and religious obligation of the believing community and the Resistance Front is to strive for vengeance — not only against Trump, but against all his accomplices and even his soldiers."
